OVERVIEW: Like a pilot predicting turbulence the racing gods normally inform you when a Melton meeting will be especially challenging by making the first event night in impossible. And that’s precisely what this is. If only you could trust CEE CEE IN AMERICA (2) the degree of difficulty here would be massively marginalised. On face value Greg Norman’s mercurial gelding should lead with ease and if he replicates his Charlton win five starts back or his eye-catching effort in a stronger race last time out he’s almost over the line. That’s far from guaranteed however, so playing wide in Early Quads is very strongly advised. Heading the list of dangers for that bloke is WOULD YOU MIND (9) really caught the eye two back then flashed home last start following an early error. Another recent Black Booker is AZZA (6) so he also goes in the mix after locking wheels last weekend while TRITTTRITTBANGBANG (13), ICONIC MAJOR (10), MESSERATI (5) and LETS MAKE TRACKS (7) are others worth considering for those that don’t want to be sitting on the pine for legs two, three and four. OVERVIEW: Like a pilot predicting turbulence the racing gods normally inform you when a Melton meeting will be especially challenging by making the first event night in impossible. And that’s precisely what this is. If only you could trust CEE CEE IN AMERICA (2) the degree of difficulty here would be massively marginalised. On face value Greg Norman’s mercurial gelding should lead with ease and if he replicates his Charlton win five starts back or his eye-catching effort in a stronger race last time out he’s almost over the line. That’s far from guaranteed however, so playing wide in Early Quads is very strongly advised. Heading the list of dangers for that bloke is WOULD YOU MIND (9) really caught the eye two back then flashed home last start following an early error. OVERVIEW: Like a pilot predicting turbulence the racing gods normally inform you when a Melton meeting will be especially challenging by making the first event night in impossible. And that’s precisely what this is. If only you could trust CEE CEE IN AMERICA (2) the degree of difficulty here would be massively marginalised. On face value Greg Norman’s mercurial gelding should lead with ease and if he replicates his Charlton win five starts back or his eye-catching effort in a stronger race last time out he’s almost over the line. That’s far from guaranteed however, so playing wide in Early Quads is very strongly advised. Heading the list of dangers for that bloke is WOULD YOU MIND (9) really caught the eye two back then flashed home last start following an early error. Another recent Black Booker is AZZA (6) so he also goes in the mix after locking wheels last weekend while TRITTTRITTBANGBANG (13), ICONIC MAJOR (10), MESSERATI (5) and LETS MAKE TRACKS (7) are others worth considering for those that don’t want to be sitting on the pine for legs two, three and four.
