OVERVIEW: SUMMER PANTS (3) began quickly to find the lead and backed off the tempo in the early stages at Melton last outing. She had a good kick left at the finish and raced away for a big win. This is a race of more depth but she is drawn to find a prominent position again and she should be competitive. RUESLAN (1) was a little disappointing when he led and finished tenth at Maryborough ($3-10 fav) on April 01 so he might take cover in the early stages. He bounced back to his peak form at Yarra Valley last outing where he pushed around the field mid-race to park without cover and got the prize. SEW WHAT (10) races best over the sprint distance but she appears to be well graded for this assignment. She was restrained at the start from a poor draw and dropped back to a rearward position early when sixth behind Huli Nien on the Metropolitan program at Melton last week. Her last win was at Cranbourne back in September where she came from a seemingly impossible position on the home turn and produced a brilliant finishing burst. LEOSABI (8) will be relying on RUESLAN (1) holding a forward position at the start but he finished fourth behind the smart colt Soho Bollinger at Yarra Valley last outing and should prove hard to hold out in the run to the finish. ROCKS ROY (4) and CROCROCK (7) could both show up without surprising. EARLY SPEED: 3 (possible leader), 1,5,7 RATINGS: 3/ 1,10/ 8/ 4,7/ 6

OVERVIEW: SUMMER PANTS (3) began quickly to find the lead and backed off the tempo in the early stages at Melton last outing. She had a good kick left at the finish and raced away for a big win. This is a race of more depth but she is drawn to find a prominent position again and she should be competitive. RUESLAN (1) was a little disappointing when he led and finished tenth at Maryborough ($3-10 fav) on April 01 so he might take cover in the early stages. He bounced back to his peak form at Yarra Valley last outing where he pushed around the field mid-race to park without cover and got the prize. SEW WHAT (10) races best over the sprint distance but she appears to be well graded for this assignment. She was restrained at the start from a poor draw and dropped back to a rearward position early when sixth behind Huli Nien on the Metropolitan program at Melton last week. Her last win was at Cranbourne back in September where she came from a seemingly impossible position on the home turn and produced a brilliant finishing burst. LEOSABI (8) will be relying on RUESLAN (1) holding a forward position at the start but he finished fourth behind the smart colt Soho Bollinger at Yarra Valley last outing and should prove hard to hold out in the run to the finish. OVERVIEW: SUMMER PANTS (3) began quickly to find the lead and backed off the tempo in the early stages at Melton last outing. She had a good kick left at the finish and raced away for a big win. This is a race of more depth but she is drawn to find a prominent position again and she should be competitive. RUESLAN (1) was a little disappointing when he led and finished tenth at Maryborough ($3-10 fav) on April 01 so he might take cover in the early stages. He bounced back to his peak form at Yarra Valley last outing where he pushed around the field mid-race to park without cover and got the prize. SEW WHAT (10) races best over the sprint distance but she appears to be well graded for this assignment. She was restrained at the start from a poor draw and dropped back to a rearward position early when sixth behind Huli Nien on the Metropolitan program at Melton last week. Her last win was at Cranbourne back in September where she came from a seemingly impossible position on the home turn and produced a brilliant finishing burst. LEOSABI (8) will be relying on RUESLAN (1) holding a forward position at the start but he finished fourth behind the smart colt Soho Bollinger at Yarra Valley last outing and should prove hard to hold out in the run to the finish. ROCKS ROY (4) and CROCROCK (7) could both show up without surprising. EARLY SPEED: 3 (possible leader), 1,5,7 RATINGS: 3/ 1,10/ 8/ 4,7/ 6
