He was runner up behind Smile Lyle in a quick mile rate of 1.55.4 at Melton on February 19 and that race is a good form pointer for this event. OCEANIQUE (7) is an underrated mare, which struck trouble last time and is worth another chance. She finished off solidly from midfield when third behind My Superannuation at Yarra Valley prior. Race comment
OVERVIEW: FOWSANDS (5) chased hard when second behind the handy type Fleetwood Rock at Kilmore last week and is capable of going one better under these conditions. His last win was at Geelong under similar conditions back in December. OUR MASTER GEORGE (4) possesses early speed and appears to be well placed against this line up. He was runner up behind Smile Lyle in a quick mile rate of 1.55.4 at Melton on February 19 and that race is a good form pointer for this event. OCEANIQUE (7) is an underrated mare, which struck trouble last time and is worth another chance. She finished off solidly from midfield when third behind My Superannuation at Yarra Valley prior. ZALTA (3) appeared to have his chance last outing but he possesses early speed and is a possible improver under these conditions, particularly if he finds the lead.
