OVERVIEW: HAYJOSHANDCO (9) appears to be ideally placed in this assignment and should prove extremely hard to beat. He had support at longer odds at Shepparton on Wednesday but was badly blocked for a run and had no luck over the final stages. STARESS (1) has been unplaced at his past couple of appearances in New South Wales but is much better drawn and should give a forward showing. APHRODISIAC (4) showed improvement at Shepparton on Wednesday with a handy finishing fourth. He is a maiden and HAYJOSHANDCO (9) is the winner of fourteen races but he went well enough last outing to be considered as a minor place possibility. OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7) was resuming since January when seventh behind Ozzie Sunshine at Shepparton but he won a trial on that track prior in reasonable time so he is worth another chance. THE DIAMOND KING (3) performed below expectations last time out but he has the speed to be able to figure in the finish. EARLY SPEED: 1 (possible leader), 3,7 RATINGS: 9/ 1/ 4,7/ 3

Race comment
OVERVIEW: HAYJOSHANDCO (9) appears to be ideally placed in this assignment and should prove extremely hard to beat. He had support at longer odds at Shepparton on Wednesday but was badly blocked for a run and had no luck over the final stages. STARESS (1) has been unplaced at his past couple of appearances in New South Wales but is much better drawn and should give a forward showing. APHRODISIAC (4) showed improvement at Shepparton on Wednesday with a handy finishing fourth. He is a maiden and HAYJOSHANDCO (9) is the winner of fourteen races but he went well enough last outing to be considered as a minor place possibility. OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7) was resuming since January when seventh behind Ozzie Sunshine at Shepparton but he won a trial on that track prior in reasonable time so he is worth another chance.
