OVERVIEW: POLLY PEACHUM (7) is a brilliant beginner and is a good chance of finding the lead, despite drawing on the outside of the front line. She led from the pole position and held on to win at Echuca last outing and there shouldn’t be much pressure throughout the middle stages of this event. CHRONICLES (8) was awkwardly dawn and settled down last on the outside before coming out four horses wide on the home turn and finishing off solidly for fourth at Cobram last outing. He has an awkward trailing draw again but he will be hard to hold out if he gains normal luck in running. BLISSFULL PENNY (2) appeared to have her chance after setting up a moderate tempo when second at Maryborough last outing. She should receive an economical trip from the pole position and the sprint distance is an advantage. ELENNA (10) was narrowly beaten at Cobram on January 22 and hasn’t had much luck in three starts since. She is an honest mare and is worth thought. OVERVIEW: POLLY PEACHUM (7) is a brilliant beginner and is a good chance of finding the lead, despite drawing on the outside of the front line. She led from the pole position and held on to win at Echuca last outing and there shouldn’t be much pressure throughout the middle stages of this event. CHRONICLES (8) was awkwardly dawn and settled down last on the outside before coming out four horses wide on the home turn and finishing off solidly for fourth at Cobram last outing. He has an awkward trailing draw again but he will be hard to hold out if he gains normal luck in running. BLISSFULL PENNY (2) appeared to have her chance after setting up a moderate tempo when second at Maryborough last outing. She should receive an economical trip from the pole position and the sprint distance is an advantage. ELENNA (10) was narrowly beaten at Cobram on January 22 and hasn’t had much luck in three starts since. She is an honest mare and is worth thought. OVERVIEW: POLLY PEACHUM (7) is a brilliant beginner and is a good chance of finding the lead, despite drawing on the outside of the front line. She led from the pole position and held on to win at Echuca last outing and there shouldn’t be much pressure throughout the middle stages of this event. CHRONICLES (8) was awkwardly dawn and settled down last on the outside before coming out four horses wide on the home turn and finishing off solidly for fourth at Cobram last outing. He has an awkward trailing draw again but he will be hard to hold out if he gains normal luck in running. BLISSFULL PENNY (2) appeared to have her chance after setting up a moderate tempo when second at Maryborough last outing. She should receive an economical trip from the pole position and the sprint distance is an advantage. ELENNA (10) was narrowly beaten at Cobram on January 22 and hasn’t had much luck in three starts since. She is an honest mare and is worth thought. Race comment
OVERVIEW: POLLY PEACHUM (7) is a brilliant beginner and is a good chance of finding the lead, despite drawing on the outside of the front line. She led from the pole position and held on to win at Echuca last outing and there shouldn’t be much pressure throughout the middle stages of this event. CHRONICLES (8) was awkwardly dawn and settled down last on the outside before coming out four horses wide on the home turn and finishing off solidly for fourth at Cobram last outing. He has an awkward trailing draw again but he will be hard to hold out if he gains normal luck in running. BLISSFULL PENNY (2) appeared to have her chance after setting up a moderate tempo when second at Maryborough last outing. She should receive an economical trip from the pole position and the sprint distance is an advantage. ELENNA (10) was narrowly beaten at Cobram on January 22 and hasn’t had much luck in three starts since. She is an honest mare and is worth thought.
