OVERVIEW: It is an outstanding field for the listed Eastern Challenge with many winning chances. CANT TOP THIS (5) missed out narrowly after working hard to lead in the Tontine Championship, broke gear and failed to finish at Melton then chased determinedly when second behind Apieceoflou on Terang Cup night. He is likely to push forward at the start and will prove hard to beat, particularly if he can find the lead. HES UNDER WRAPS (6) is a former New Zealand pacer, which led throughout to win at Metropolitan level on his Australian debut. He is not as well drawn but he did show plenty of strength across the Tasman so he must be respected. MAJOR JODI (8) is very poorly drawn but he appears to be well graded in this event considering he defeated the exciting pacer Honolua Bay at Shepparton on January 16 and his last run was a creditable fifth in the 4yo Bonanza (Group 1) at Melton. He will take holding out in the run to the finish. MAJOR MEISTER (11) put in a top performance when second behind Off The Radar at Terang. He hasn’t had much luck lately and he is versatile enough to figure in the finish. IMNOPUMPKIN (13) is resuming since a tenth in the Super Series Final. He won a heat and was second in a semi-final of that series so he must be respected. There are seven horses in this event that won at their latest attempt, EQUITY STRIDE (7) is shooting for five victories in succession, so luck in running might be the key to the result. OVERVIEW: It is an outstanding field for the listed Eastern Challenge with many winning chances. CANT TOP THIS (5) missed out narrowly after working hard to lead in the Tontine Championship, broke gear and failed to finish at Melton then chased determinedly when second behind Apieceoflou on Terang Cup night. He is likely to push forward at the start and will prove hard to beat, particularly if he can find the lead. HES UNDER WRAPS (6) is a former New Zealand pacer, which led throughout to win at Metropolitan level on his Australian debut. He is not as well drawn but he did show plenty of strength across the Tasman so he must be respected. MAJOR JODI (8) is very poorly drawn but he appears to be well graded in this event considering he defeated the exciting pacer Honolua Bay at Shepparton on January 16 and his last run was a creditable fifth in the 4yo Bonanza (Group 1) at Melton. He will take holding out in the run to the finish. MAJOR MEISTER (11) put in a top performance when second behind Off The Radar at Terang. OVERVIEW: It is an outstanding field for the listed Eastern Challenge with many winning chances. CANT TOP THIS (5) missed out narrowly after working hard to lead in the Tontine Championship, broke gear and failed to finish at Melton then chased determinedly when second behind Apieceoflou on Terang Cup night. He is likely to push forward at the start and will prove hard to beat, particularly if he can find the lead. HES UNDER WRAPS (6) is a former New Zealand pacer, which led throughout to win at Metropolitan level on his Australian debut. He is not as well drawn but he did show plenty of strength across the Tasman so he must be respected. MAJOR JODI (8) is very poorly drawn but he appears to be well graded in this event considering he defeated the exciting pacer Honolua Bay at Shepparton on January 16 and his last run was a creditable fifth in the 4yo Bonanza (Group 1) at Melton. He will take holding out in the run to the finish. MAJOR MEISTER (11) put in a top performance when second behind Off The Radar at Terang. OVERVIEW: It is an outstanding field for the listed Eastern Challenge with many winning chances. CANT TOP THIS (5) missed out narrowly after working hard to lead in the Tontine Championship, broke gear and failed to finish at Melton then chased determinedly when second behind Apieceoflou on Terang Cup night. He is likely to push forward at the start and will prove hard to beat, particularly if he can find the lead. HES UNDER WRAPS (6) is a former New Zealand pacer, which led throughout to win at Metropolitan level on his Australian debut. He is not as well drawn but he did show plenty of strength across the Tasman so he must be respected. MAJOR JODI (8) is very poorly drawn but he appears to be well graded in this event considering he defeated the exciting pacer Honolua Bay at Shepparton on January 16 and his last run was a creditable fifth in the 4yo Bonanza (Group 1) at Melton. He will take holding out in the run to the finish. MAJOR MEISTER (11) put in a top performance when second behind Off The Radar at Terang. He hasn’t had much luck lately and he is versatile enough to figure in the finish. IMNOPUMPKIN (13) is resuming since a tenth in the Super Series Final. He won a heat and was second in a semi-final of that series so he must be respected.
