OVERVIEW: MYKORONA (7) was very unlucky and put in a big performance when second on debut. She led early, got shuffled back on the markers mid-race and was held up for a run at a vital stage before flying home at the finish. She impressively won a trial at Maryborough prior and will take beating here. JUST HOPE (8) is a beautifully bred first starter for trainer Russell Jack and appeared to be very impressive when she led throughout to win a trial by a large margin at Kilmore last week. She obviously has ability and must be kept safe. MITZI SAID (2) has been showing some speed at the trials and ran a better race when second behind Solesseo Matuca at Bendigo last week.
