Things went awry at Horsham for the Emma Stewart-trained 4yo when she pulled herself out of contention in the chair outside smart Highway To Heaven. OVERVIEW: At her Australian debut SPIRITED BELLE (2) simply toyed with her rivals on Hamilton Cup Day, defeating smart pacer Congo Line. Things went awry at Horsham for the Emma Stewart-trained 4yo when she pulled herself out of contention in the chair outside smart Highway To Heaven. Here she has the benefit of easily finding the lead from gate two and completely dictating terms. Then my map plays a big role for the minor place picks. URGOODBOY (1) is not a quick beginner and has a habit of going roughly, so if Grant Campbell can jump in behind the leader and favourite aboard FOURTH IN LINE (3) then he becomes second pick. JAEDEN (8) will probably be off the pegs and getting into the action early. I don’t think he wins, but he must rate among the main trifecta players, along with URGOODBOY (1) so long as he doesn’t get totally shuffled out of play.
