OVERVIEW: SASSCILIAN (1) was fifth on the markers early then moved into the death seat at the 1400m when third at Shepparton last outing. He has been placed in two of his past three starts against similar opposition and gets his chance to break through for a win. TWEET ABOUT IT (8) will be relying on SASSCILIAN (1) holding a forward position at the start but she is the winner of five races and is usually competitive against this class so she is not without a chance. ASTERISM (9) missed the start last outing and lost his chance to excel. He sat without cover and was beaten by a narrow margin at Echuca three starts ago so he is worth an investment. HEZA BRAXTON (4) is an interesting runner. He was doing a lot wrong at his last preparation of racing but he did record a mile rate of 1.57.0 at a Shepparton victory on June 08.
