This extreme short course series has been perplexing from the start but reached new levels of befuddlement for tonight’s decider. The only indisputable likelihood is they’ll run this final faster than any heat and for that reason we’re siding with class commodity DIAMONDS N CASH (8). He didn’t set the world on fire in the highest-rated heat but has a talent edge and will thrive if they go berserk as expected. Should the pace be as frenetic as expected the other three serious hopes are ROLLOVA (4) who was unbelievably good last start, the other class runner BONCEL BENJAMIN (7) and YORKSHIRE (2) who might be ready to go next level based on his heat success last weekend. Should they not set land speed records FRANCO JOLTO (5) looms large as he has the speed to cross everything including polemarker CARLAS MACH (1) who continues to garner support based more on reputation than deed. OVERVIEW: Winston Churchill once called the Russia a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. Clearly the great leader never tried punting on a Mercury80 race. This extreme short course series has been perplexing from the start but reached new levels of befuddlement for tonight’s decider. The only indisputable likelihood is they’ll run this final faster than any heat and for that reason we’re siding with class commodity DIAMONDS N CASH (8). He didn’t set the world on fire in the highest-rated heat but has a talent edge and will thrive if they go berserk as expected. Should the pace be as frenetic as expected the other three serious hopes are ROLLOVA (4) who was unbelievably good last start, the other class runner BONCEL BENJAMIN (7) and YORKSHIRE (2) who might be ready to go next level based on his heat success last weekend. Should they not set land speed records FRANCO JOLTO (5) looms large as he has the speed to cross everything including polemarker CARLAS MACH (1) who continues to garner support based more on reputation than deed.
