OVERVIEW: It’s never easy to assess a horse dropping as wildly in grade as NEPHEW OF SONOKO (7) is here. Crazy as it sounds he was competing at Group 1 level last start and drops to a metro maiden tonight. If you couple that with the fact he was super in another Group 1 on NYE and he should absolutely win, but for some reason doesn’t seem like a lock-the door moral. Perhaps that’s due to DELS DESTINY (2). A beautifully bred relative of Speeding Spur’s he’s been steadily making his way through the grades of late and there’s something about him that makes you believe the next step is well within his reach. HATCHBACK (6) is the other runner with a reputation here and his claims would be massively improved should he find the top while FLASH KYVALLEY (5) has always had potential and recent trials suggest he may be ready to fulfil it this campaign. EARLY SPEED: 6 (Potential Leader) + 2,4,5,7 RATINGS: 7/ 2/ 6/ 5/ 1/ 3/ 4

OVERVIEW: It’s never easy to assess a horse dropping as wildly in grade as NEPHEW OF SONOKO (7) is here. Crazy as it sounds he was competing at Group 1 level last start and drops to a metro maiden tonight. If you couple that with the fact he was super in another Group 1 on NYE and he should absolutely win, but for some reason doesn’t seem like a lock-the door moral. Perhaps that’s due to DELS DESTINY (2). A beautifully bred relative of Speeding Spur’s he’s been steadily making his way through the grades of late and there’s something about him that makes you believe the next step is well within his reach. HATCHBACK (6) is the other runner with a reputation here and his claims would be massively improved should he find the top while FLASH KYVALLEY (5) has always had potential and recent trials suggest he may be ready to fulfil it this campaign.
