OVERVIEW: DIEGOS DIAMOND (4) began well, broke stride momentarily on the first turn and gained the trail behind the leader when third behind Ferocious Son at Ballarat last outing. This race is a little easier so he gets his chance to break through for a win. PRIDDY EASY (6) races best when he is able to lead and is likely to driven in a forward manner, despite the wide draw. He tried to lead throughout when second at Cranbourne prior to a seventh from a poor draw at Yarra Valley. HAVEACHAT (5) showed good gate speed to lead and was run down on the line by ILLAWONG PHOENIX (7) when a close second at Geelong. That was his first run since August so he should be fitter and is worth thought again. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (7) was expertly driven by James Herbertson when he cut back to the inside to save ground and won via the sprint lane at Geelong. She is poorly drawn but she did beat a field of similar quality at her latest victory. MOBSTER (2) and INSULTING (3) both are nicely bred pacers that could improve with a good draw over the sprint distance. EARLY SPEED: 2 (possible early leader), 3,5,6 RATINGS: 4/ 5,6/ 7/ 2,3

OVERVIEW: DIEGOS DIAMOND (4) began well, broke stride momentarily on the first turn and gained the trail behind the leader when third behind Ferocious Son at Ballarat last outing. This race is a little easier so he gets his chance to break through for a win. PRIDDY EASY (6) races best when he is able to lead and is likely to driven in a forward manner, despite the wide draw. He tried to lead throughout when second at Cranbourne prior to a seventh from a poor draw at Yarra Valley. HAVEACHAT (5) showed good gate speed to lead and was run down on the line by ILLAWONG PHOENIX (7) when a close second at Geelong. That was his first run since August so he should be fitter and is worth thought again. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (7) was expertly driven by James Herbertson when he cut back to the inside to save ground and won via the sprint lane at Geelong. She is poorly drawn but she did beat a field of similar quality at her latest victory. MOBSTER (2) and INSULTING (3) both are nicely bred pacers that could improve with a good draw over the sprint distance. EARLY SPEED: 2 (possible early leader), 3,5,6 RATINGS: 4/ 5,6/ 7/ 2,3

Race comment
OVERVIEW: DIEGOS DIAMOND (4) began well, broke stride momentarily on the first turn and gained the trail behind the leader when third behind Ferocious Son at Ballarat last outing. This race is a little easier so he gets his chance to break through for a win. PRIDDY EASY (6) races best when he is able to lead and is likely to driven in a forward manner, despite the wide draw. He tried to lead throughout when second at Cranbourne prior to a seventh from a poor draw at Yarra Valley. HAVEACHAT (5) showed good gate speed to lead and was run down on the line by ILLAWONG PHOENIX (7) when a close second at Geelong. That was his first run since August so he should be fitter and is worth thought again. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (7) was expertly driven by James Herbertson when he cut back to the inside to save ground and won via the sprint lane at Geelong. She is poorly drawn but she did beat a field of similar quality at her latest victory. MOBSTER (2) and INSULTING (3) both are nicely bred pacers that could improve with a good draw over the sprint distance. EARLY SPEED: 2 (possible early leader), 3,5,6 RATINGS: 4/ 5,6/ 7/ 2,3
