ONE OFF (7) landed gate 7 last start, the difference being on that occasion it was at The Creek where the outside the front line is much less palatable than inside the 2nd line here. Taken back to the pegs in that event he was hitting the line in nice fashion over the closing stages behind LA PLAYER. He should secure the trip to take the snipers shot. CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (1) has hit the board just once in 5 attempts here but has not really had conditions to suit in those either. Beaten by gate 7 last start when forced to retreat early, the start prior he was within 3m of the winner KENSINGTON BILL. With the early speed he can make his challenge. MISTER FINNIGAN (6) angled to the pegs last time out and was strong to the line in the same race as ONE OFF when finishing 5m from the winner.
