OVERVIEW: WENTHESTARZZZALINE (10) would have been a very good bet had she been drawn on the front line but she still warrants respect over the sprint distance. She progressed forward to race without cover, gained a one out and one back trail at the bell before being left stranded on the outside of the leader from the 600m when a game second at Shepparton. She has since finished second at a Bendigo trial performance so she should be competitive here. MURANO (7) tired after enduring a tough trip at Swan Hill last week but he is a much better horse over the sprint distance so a forward showing is expected under these conditions. MISS ARTEMIS (8) eased at the start from an awkward draw, dropped back to the markers and worked home quite well for fourth at Echuca last outing. She is awkwardly drawn but she is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward. BLISSFULL PENNY (3) finished off strongly for second behind Lasting Bond at Bendigo last outing and appears to be one of the leading chances. DONTSHOWYOURACES (9) is better than his form reads and is a possible improver. EARLY SPEED: 3 (possible early leader), 7 RATINGS: 10/ 7,8/ 3/ 9/ 1,2

OVERVIEW: WENTHESTARZZZALINE (10) would have been a very good bet had she been drawn on the front line but she still warrants respect over the sprint distance. She progressed forward to race without cover, gained a one out and one back trail at the bell before being left stranded on the outside of the leader from the 600m when a game second at Shepparton. She has since finished second at a Bendigo trial performance so she should be competitive here. MURANO (7) tired after enduring a tough trip at Swan Hill last week but he is a much better horse over the sprint distance so a forward showing is expected under these conditions. MISS ARTEMIS (8) eased at the start from an awkward draw, dropped back to the markers and worked home quite well for fourth at Echuca last outing. She is awkwardly drawn but she is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward. BLISSFULL PENNY (3) finished off strongly for second behind Lasting Bond at Bendigo last outing and appears to be one of the leading chances. OVERVIEW: WENTHESTARZZZALINE (10) would have been a very good bet had she been drawn on the front line but she still warrants respect over the sprint distance. She progressed forward to race without cover, gained a one out and one back trail at the bell before being left stranded on the outside of the leader from the 600m when a game second at Shepparton. She has since finished second at a Bendigo trial performance so she should be competitive here. MURANO (7) tired after enduring a tough trip at Swan Hill last week but he is a much better horse over the sprint distance so a forward showing is expected under these conditions. MISS ARTEMIS (8) eased at the start from an awkward draw, dropped back to the markers and worked home quite well for fourth at Echuca last outing. She is awkwardly drawn but she is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward. BLISSFULL PENNY (3) finished off strongly for second behind Lasting Bond at Bendigo last outing and appears to be one of the leading chances.
