OVERVIEW: CUT FROM ROCK (6) attempted to lead all of the way when a close second behind Thumbs Up at Kilmore last week. That was her best run since coming from Queensland and she should go well again here. SHESMYBABY (5) followed inside runs throughout but she produced a big performance when sixth (14m) behind Amelia Rose in a strong heat of the Super Series at Ballarat after a big win over SMILING (1) at Kilmore. She is a lightly raced filly with ability and is worth following. SMILING (1) has been placed in all of her three efforts since coming from New South Wales and is drawn to receive every chance. She tried to lead all of the way when second at Cobram last outing after a third behind the handy type Changeover Girl (won again since). CELESTIA (4) struck trouble when eighth at her first run since early October and is capable of improving on her numerical form. She was racing well against handy opposition when she was last in work.
