Race comment

Good effort when 1m 2nd $5.50 (Fr1) Smoking Zak Bathurst 1730m (1:59.5) R3347 race May 27 then ran 14m 6th $3.30 (Fr1) Allegretto Bathurst 1730m (1:59.7) R3347 race Jun 10. Usually thereabouts and has each way claims.

Race comment

Raced wide late when 5.2m 4th $4.20 (Sr2) Mac Stubborn Bathurst 1730m (2:01.1) R3447 race Jun 3 then raced wide late when 17.5m 4th $7.00 (Sr4) The Grogfather Dubbo 1720m (1:59.9) R3647 race Jun 14. Racing without much luck lately; suited here and capable of winning this with a right run.

Race comment

Eased early, tightened during running and checked twice in running when 13.2m 8th $18 (Fr6) Arty Pharty NZ Bathurst 1730m (1:58.0) R4248 race Apr 1 then out of position at the start when 8.2m 3rd $21 (Sr2) Allegretto Bathurst 1730m (1:59.7) R3347 race Jun 10. Returned from a break with a sound placing and fitter now; capable second up and definite contender with a cleaner start than at his last run.

Finished 14m 7th $26 (Fr4) Smoking Zak Bathurst 1730m (1:59.5) R3347 race May 27 then beaten 9m 6th $10.00 (Sr2) Getaloadathisbro Parkes 1660m (2:02.2) R4047 race Jun 7. Take on trust.

Race comment

Finished 2.2m 3rd $11 (Fr1) Pale Face Jo Bathurst 1730m (2:01.0) R3947 race May 31 then slow to begin when 16.5m 8th $15 (Fr2) Allegretto Bathurst 1730m (1:59.7) R3347 race Jun 10. Mixed form this prep and need to treat warily.

Race comment

Used the sprint lane when 4m 3rd $10.00 (Fr1) Mac Stubborn Bathurst 1730m (2:01.1) R3447 race Jun 3 then eased early when 10.7m 5th $26 (Fr3) Allegretto Bathurst 1730m (1:59.7) R3347 race Jun 10. Minor place preferred.

Race comment

Raced wide early and eased early when 12.7m 10th $10.00 (Fr4) Pale Face Jo Bathurst 1730m (2:01.0) R3947 race May 31 then beaten 13m 9th $19 (Fr4) Mac Stubborn Bathurst 1730m (2:01.1) R3447 race Jun 3. Unlikely to figure here.

Race comment

Eased early when 10m 2nd $126 (Fr6) Bill Shannon Bathurst 1730m (1:57.3) R3646 race Jun 3 then beaten 14.2m 7th $8.00 (Sr1) My Flying Spur Dubbo 1720m (2:02.7) R3248 race Jun 14. Looks vulnerable here.

Race comment

Raced well when 3.5m 3rd $3.60 (Fr5) Lucky Cruz Bathurst 1730m (1:59.3) R3747 race May 27 then raced wide early and hung in during the race when 4.2m 3rd $8.50 (Sr3) Getaloadathisbro Parkes 1660m (2:02.2) R4047 race Jun 7. Not out of it on consistent recent form.

Race comment

Held up for a run early in the straight when 3m 3rd $2.10 (Fr1) Valenteeno Bathurst 1730m (2:02.1) R4247 race May 22 then beaten 19m 8th $6.50 (Sr2) Warra Downs Bathurst 1730m (1:59.3) R3550 race Jun 10. One for the exotics on sound efforts prior to last start failure in stronger race.
