Race comment

Safely held when 10.5m 4th $13 (Fr2) Wolf Stride Menangle 1609m (1:52.7) R5061 race Feb 4 then ran 26m 6th $71 (Sr4) La Perla Bella NZ Penrith 1720m (1:56.5) R4955 race Feb 27. Unplaced in recent runs but this is easier than last start and was placed at only previous run at this track and distance; has claims on best form .

Race comment

Finished 0.2m 2nd $3.90 (Fr1) Domande Newcastle 2030m (2:01.3) 3R4250 race Feb 15 then beaten 0.2m 2nd $2.20 (Fr3) Motu Sapphire NZ Newcastle 1609m (1:58.7) R4650 race Feb 24. Fitter for two recent runs from a spell but still a maiden after 9 starts and place preferred .

Race comment

Beaten 18m 7th $26 (Fr3) Zeuss Bromac NZ Menangle 1609m (1:51.9) 3R5056 race Jan 28 then eased early when 11.7m 5th $4.20 (Fr5) Percy Bailey Menangle 1609m (1:53.9) 3R4454 race Feb 11. Minor excuse last start and previous form sound including a win at track earlier in the prep; contender despite drawing awkwardly.

Race comment

Eased early when 31m 6th $34 (Fr9) Tingiringi Menangle 1609m (1:53.9) 2R3542 race Aug 27 then tired over the latter stages when 93m 9th $3.70 (Fr3) Domande Newcastle 2030m (2:01.3) 3R4250 race Feb 15. Well beaten first up after tiring over latter stages; need to see again .

Race comment

Tired over the latter stages when 54m 7th $151 (Fr1) Fire And Sword Newcastle 1609m (1:55.5) 3R4156 race Feb 21 then beaten 0.2m 2nd $71 (Fr3) Flying Teagan Newcastle 1609m (1:59.0) R3846 race Feb 28. Likely leader from the pole draw and could figure in the finish.

Race comment

Eased early and raced wide early when 11.2m 6th $34 (Fr8) Robyn Taylor Newcastle 1609m (1:58.1) R4247 race Feb 21 then eased early and broke during running when 91m 10th $71 (Fr6) Pelican Fly Newcastle 1609m (1:57.8) R4650 race Feb 28. Not fancied .

Race comment

Battled on gamely defeating Silver Domino 0.5m $6.00 (Fr1) Newcastle 1609m (1:59.2) 2R3741 race Aug 12 then eased early and failed to get a clear run when beaten 34.5m 6th $12 (Fr8) Miss Ciriello Newcastle 2030m (1:57.3) R4160 race Feb 24. Can forgive last start effort when she was blocked for run; fitter now and was placed second up last prep .

Race comment

Handy effort when 9.7m 4th $41 (Fr4) Fire And Sword Newcastle 1609m (1:55.5) 3R4156 race Feb 21 then beaten 12.5m 3rd $5.00 (Sr1) Oursouthernstar Newcastle 2030m (2:00.7) 3R4454 race Feb 28. Usaully thereabouts and stays in the mix .

Race comment

Won $3.30 (Fr1) narrowly over Allambie 0.2m Newcastle 1609m (1:58.7) R4650 race Feb 24 then broke during running when distanced 8th $12 (Fr2) Oursouthernstar Newcastle 2030m (2:00.7) 3R4454 race Feb 28. Distanced last start after breaking in running; not hopeless on narriow win two back at this track .

Race comment

Covered extra ground when 5m 5th $31 (Fr6) Yosemite Menangle 1609m (1:56.4) 3F7116 race Feb 15 then raced well when 0.4m 2nd $4.60 (Fr3) Bettor Back Louey Penrith 2125m (2:00.7) 3R4755 race Feb 27. Holding form well but drawn poorly; each way preferred .
