Was a handy winner $3.20 (Sr1) defeating Little Bit Dusty 2.7m Bathurst 1730m (1:55.0) R6275 race Feb 16 then eased early when 33m 9th $34 (Fr10) Mach Da Vinci NZ Menangle 2300m (1:54.7) R57120 race Feb 22. Eased early and inconvenienced when 9.2m 4th $4.40 (Fr4) Rise Above This NZ Penrith 1720m (1:56.6) R5870 race Feb 13 then eased early when 13m 4th $11 (Fr6) Miss Halfpenny Newcastle 2030m (1:56.3) R5770 race Feb 21. Fitter for unlucky recent runs and has performed well at this stage in previous campaigns (1-1-2); drawn poorly the second row but contender nevertheless.
