Hung in during the race and broke during running when 15.5m 6th $8.50 (Fr7) Glenferrie Typhoon NZ Menangle 1609m (1:53.5) R81119 race Jan 25 then good run when 3.2m 2nd $4.00 (Fr2) Drop The Hammer Menangle 1609m (1:55.2) T64118 race Feb 15. Already a winner of 5 from 8 at this course and distance and fitter for recent racing ; has won at this stage in an earlier prep and contender again despite a wide draw.
