Finished 10m 5th $5.30 (Fr1) Dragon Stride Canberra 1770m (1:58.8) R5255 race Jan 28 then eased early, hung out and raced roughly when beaten distanced 10th $23 (Fr6) Mini Major Canberra 2170m (2:02.5) R5055 race Feb 2. Hard to be positive here.

Race comment

Inconvenienced when 38m 7th $34 (Fr5) Surreal NZ Menangle 1609m (1:53.6) R4457 race Jan 7 then held on well when 6.2m 2nd $1.90 (Fr2) Another Buddy Canberra 1770m (1:58.9) R4752 race Jan 28. Had a minor excuse when unplaced two back and other recent runs solids; not out of it.

Race comment

Resuming from a spell. Sound effort when 7m 7th $19 (Fr1) Sheiswatching Albion Park 2138m (1:56.3) R5363 race Jul 2 then raced wide early when 3m 3rd $21 (Fr7) Bella Ball Terror Albion Park 1660m (1:53.7) R4655 race Jul 9. Resumes here and has won and placed once from 3 fresh starts; suited in this company and from this draw and could run well here.

Finished 34m 9th $65 (Sr3) Dragon Stride Canberra 1770m (1:58.8) R5255 race Jan 28 then beaten 30m 6th $43 (Fr2) Stormy Raider Canberra 2170m (2:03.3) R5460 race Feb 2. Prefer others again.

Race comment

Battled on gamely defeating Gabbys Ideal 0.4m $26 (Fr3) Parkes 1660m (2:00.4) R5053 race Jan 8 then failed to get a clear run when beaten 19m 7th $9.50 (Sr1) Lovin Everyday Dubbo 2120m (1:59.3) R5155 race Jan 22. Mixing form this prep and need to treat warily.

Race comment

Raced wide early when 15m 7th $7.50 (Fr4) Matamua Penrith 1720m (1:58.8) R5164 race Jan 9 then handy effort when 10m 5th $10.00 (Fr7) Lilymadimac Menangle 1609m (1:54.2) R4959 race Jan 28. Fitter for two recent runs from a spell and has placed 1 from 3 third up; contender here despite the second row draw.

Race comment
