Race comment

Looked good defeating Crime Boss 4.5m $6.00 (Sr1) Tamworth 1980m (2:02.5) R3451 race Jan 19 then held on well when 7.7m 2nd $10.00 (Sr1) Rocknroll Swinger Tamworth 1609m (1:58.8) R4555 race Jan 23. Among the better chances on solid recent form but draw some concern.

Race comment

Raced wide early when 11.7m 8th $2.80 (Fr7) Cut From Rock Albion Park 1660m (1:55.9) R4358 race Dec 27 then broke twice in running when 83.5m 9th $3.60 (Sr4) Hadley Redcliffe 1780m (1:59.7) R3853 race Jan 1. Had excuses past couple and not out of it on solid win three back.

Failed to get a clear run when 48.5m 8th $34 (Fr6) Magnifico To Watch Newcastle 1609m (1:56.0) R3650 race Jan 17 then tightened during running when 14.5m 5th $31 (Fr1) Rocknroll Swinger Tamworth 1609m (1:58.8) R4555 race Jan 23. Needs to lift again.

Finished 44m 4th $11 (Fr1) Manly Boy Tamworth 1980m (2:00.6) R5155 race Jan 15 then held up for a run early in the straight when 1.2m 2nd $9.00 (Fr3) Overthemoon Tamworth 1980m (2:00.5) R5360 race Jan 23. Place claims again.

Race comment

Safely held when 7.5m 5th $4.20 (Sr3) Mybella Rose Redcliffe 1780m (1:59.0) R5160 race Jan 8 then raced well when 0.5m 2nd $3.60 (Fr3) Sword And Shield Redcliffe 1780m (1:59.0) R5359 race Jan 16. Another good run last start when second and has won in this distance range; has the tactical speed to overcome the wide draw.

Race comment

Finished 52.5m 8th $8.50 (Fr5) Manly Boy Tamworth 1980m (2:00.6) R5155 race Jan 15 then beaten 8.2m 3rd $9.00 (Sr2) Whosashadylady Tamworth 1980m (2:00.0) R4153 race Jan 23. Could fill a minor spot.

Race comment

Sound effort when 8.7m 2nd (Fr2) Always Bopping Bathurst 1730m (2:00.1) 3R4150 race Jan 6 then battled on gamely defeating Turbo Tommy 0.1m $1.80 (Fr5) Young 2100m (2:02.9) R4050 race Jan 21. Solid at past two runs and has scope to make further progress; warrants respect despite drawing poorly.

Race comment

Sound effort when 4.7m 3rd $2.00 (Sr3) Motu Zest For Life NZ Tamworth 1980m (2:02.5) R3451 race Jan 19 then impressive winner $6.50 (Fr4) defeating Motu Zest For Life NZ 7.7m Tamworth 1609m (1:58.8) R4555 race Jan 23. Lightly raced improver; fitter now and contender despite a tricky draw.
