Beaten 16.5m 10th $23 (Sr2) Courageous Beau Bathurst 1730m (2:00.7) R4047 race Jan 17 then raced wide early and tired over the latter stages when 36.5m 8th $51 (Fr7) Llanfair Rumours Bathurst 1730m (1:57.7) R3745 race Jan 29. Had excuses last start and drawn much more favourably here; winner four back and could bounce back.
