Held on well when 8.5m 5th $9.00 (Fr4) Mister Magic Man Young 1720m (1:59.1) R4877 race Sep 13 then raced wide early when 8.5m 4th $19 (Fr5) Twentyeightblack Wagga Paceway 2270m (1:58.4) R6281 race Sep 20. Usually thereabouts and has each way claims.

Race comment

Safely held when 5m 3rd $7.00 (Fr5) Maximus Red Cowra 2160m (2:02.9) R5678 race Sep 8 then solid effort when 5.7m 5th $9.00 (Fr5) Aphorism Bathurst 1730m (1:57.1) R5772 race Sep 18. Holding form well and suited in this grade; definite contender despite a tricky draw.

Safely held when 8.5m 7th $4.40 (Sr1) Schouten Island Wagga Paceway 1740m (1:56.5) R5868 race Aug 23 then finished 31m 9th $3.40 (Sr4) Mighty Moke Lombo Wagga Paceway 1740m (1:56.2) R5769 race Sep 7. Drawn ideally and is proven at this track and distance; could bounce back following few below par performances, elsewhere, at past three runs.

Finished 25.5m 7th $70 (Fr2) Madeeba Cobram 1670m (1:54.2) C2-C3 race Apr 8 then beaten 19.5m 9th $41 (Fr3) Rodanthe Nights Wagga Paceway 1740m (1:57.0) R5360 race Sep 20. Will try to lead from this gate but could face stiff opposition for the prime settling spot.

Race comment

Eased early when 7.2m 5th $41 (Fr6) Peggyville Young 1720m (1:56.4) R5762 race Sep 13 then tired over the latter stages when 54m 12th $2.40 (Fr2) Rodanthe Nights Wagga Paceway 1740m (1:57.0) R5360 race Sep 20. Likely leader from this gate but could have few for company which could tell in the end.

Race comment

Raced well when 0.4m 3rd $8.50 (Fr5) So Much Bettor Wagga Paceway 1740m (1:54.5) R5772 race Aug 20 then out of position at the start, tightened during running and checked and broke when 43.5m 9th $16 (Sr1) So Much Bettor Leeton 1758m (1:56.8) R5872 race Aug 27. Had genuine excuses last start and not out of it on narrow defeat in similar grade of race two back.

Race comment

Raced wide early and covered extra ground when 12.5m 7th $11 (Fr4) Convair Hustler NZ Young 2100m (1:58.9) R5778 race Sep 13 then beaten 8.7m 5th $101 (Fr2) Twentyeightblack Wagga Paceway 2270m (1:58.4) R6281 race Sep 20. Useful when right.

Race comment

Handy win $3.50 (Fr4) defeating Redbank Harry 5.5m Coolamon 2210m (2:03.0) R2-R3 race May 5 then tired over the latter stages when distanced 10th $19 (Fr6) Convair Hustler NZ Young 2100m (1:58.9) R5778 race Sep 13. This draw poses a challenge but he won at his only start at this track and distance and stays in the mix.
