Race comment

Tightened during running and held up for a run early in the straight when 5.5m 5th $34 (Fr3) Pocket Of Terror Menangle 1609m (1:51.3) R56100 race Aug 17 then sound effort when 10.5m 7th $23 (Fr1) Lexus With A View Menangle 2300m (1:54.2) R6898 race Aug 24. Likely to find this easier than past couple and did win at Menangle three back; can bounce back here.

Race comment

Failed to get a clear run when 15.7m 7th $6.00 (Sr1) Rain Man NZ Penrith 1720m (1:58.0) R6272 race Aug 1 then raced well when 11m 6th $13 (Sr1) Flyin Circles NZ Penrith 1720m (1:57.8) R6068 race Aug 8. Fitter for four runs this prep and has run well fifth up in the past and could do so again particularly from the pole draw.

Race comment

Racing consistently and likely leader here; could be hard to run down.

Back from a spell. Finished distanced 10th $41 (Sr4) The Red Moon Rising NZ Penrith 2125m (1:59.1) C3-C4 race Jan 3 then eased early when 6.2m 4th $15 (Fr6) Captains Call Penrith 1720m (1:58.1) C3-C5 race Jan 10. Resumes here but fresh form useful and worth keeping in mind.
