Covered extra ground when 13.5m 8th $9.50 (Sr4) Prestonpans NZ Albion Park 2138m (1:55.8) R7491 race Jul 13 then handy effort when 7.5m 6th $31 (Sr5) A Good Chance Albion Park 1660m (1:52.2) R7998 race Jul 27. This draw suits having won and placed from this position before and fitter for recent racing; likely leader and could be hard to run down.

Eased early when 14m 9th $4.20 (Fr8) Islandspecialmajor Menangle 2300m (1:58.5) R81118 race Aug 10 then held on well when 3.5m 4th $3.80 (Fr3) Lombo Kotakinabalu Menangle 1609m (1:52.3) R84116 race Aug 24. Form consistent at this track and distance; draw not an issue as usually races back in the field and has each way claims.

Race comment

Looked good defeating Shannonstheman 2.7m $1.40 (Fr7) Bathurst 2260m (1:56.9) R5685 race Aug 21 then commanding winner $1.60 (Sr5) over Tulhurst Santanna 16m Dubbo 2120m (1:58.6) R4881 race Aug 25. Drawn awkwardly and this is toiugher but hard to knock recent winning form.
