Handy effort when 7m 4th $26 (Fr1) Courageous Dancer Newcastle 1609m (2:01.2) 3R4357 race Aug 16 then very impressive winner $3.80 (Fr1) defeating Prince Of Payne 17.2m Tamworth 1980m (2:03.4) 3R3950 race Aug 22. Broke his maiden status last start and drawn suitably again; contender.

Race comment

Back from a spell. Safely held when 4m 4th $11 (Fr2) Choisir Damour Newcastle 1609m (1:57.3) 3C0-3C1 race Jun 8 then raced roughly when 5.7m 3rd $2.30 (Fr6) Jodie Podie Maitland 1644m (2:03.7) 3C0 race Jun 17. Back from a spell and he was placed on debut and has also placed 2 from 4 at this track; consider if fancied.

Finished 25.5m 10th $15 (Fr1) Victory Valley Newcastle 1609m (1:59.4) R4354 race Aug 10 then eased early when 0.1m 2nd $61 (Fr9) Battlecraft Newcastle 2030m (2:01.9) 3R4150 race Aug 12. Improved unexpectedly at his last start and needs to reproduce that effort to figure here.

Race comment

Broke during running when 17.5m 9th $13 (Sr1) Jodie Podie Maitland 1644m (2:03.7) 3C0 race Jun 17 then finished 18.2m 9th $51 (Fr8) Playboy President Newcastle 2030m (2:00.9) R4249 race Aug 19. Yet to show any worthwhile form but fitter for recent racing and could improve sharply in this field.

Race comment

First start since spell. Eased early when 9.2m 8th $30 (Fr5) Nifty Studleigh Bathurst 1730m (1:59.1) 2C0-2C1 race Aug 15 then beaten 36.5m 7th $7.40 (Fr5) Our Jaguar Star Newcastle 1609m (1:59.8) 2C0-2C2 race Aug 24. Has had two light preparations now and could have benefited from the experience.

Race comment

Out of position at the start and broke during running when distanced 12th $41 (Fr10) Mister Finnigan Newcastle 1609m (1:57.5) R4347 race Aug 3 then beaten 12.5m 8th $8.50 (Fr6) Battlecraft Newcastle 2030m (2:01.9) 3R4150 race Aug 12. Others have better claims.
