Handy effort when 4.5m 3rd $1.90 (Fr1) Kurahaupo Gambler NZ Albion Park 1660m (1:55.5) C2-C3 race May 24 then raced wide early, raced roughly and tightened during running when 6.7m 4th $2.30 (Fr5) Overcharged NZ Penrith 1720m (1:58.4) C1 race Jun 20. Covered extra ground early last start and could get a better run from an inside draw here; has claims on sound effort two back.

Held on well when 8m 3rd $15 (Fr1) Ideal Pleasure NZ Menangle 1609m (1:52.7) C3-C4 race Jun 18 then tightened during running and had a flat tyre when 11.7m 7th $16 (Fr2) Alta Teresa NZ Penrith 1720m (1:57.5) C4-C5 race Jun 27. Had genuine excuses last start and definite contender on solid previous form despite the tricky draw.
