RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: POPPY POPSTAR (6) continues to race in good form and is clearly the horse to beat again. She worked forward to find the lead with a lap remaining and dashed well clear in the run to the finish when she scored last week. BAARLINEE (7) came from last and finished off strongly late when fourth behind Buckles For Berry at Ballarat last week. She should be reaching her peak form after having three starts back from a break and is competing in a suitable race now. CHAMPAGNES (4) worked forward to find the lead shortly after the start and was run down late when seventh ($1-65 fav) at Ballarat last outing. Her form prior was sound so she is worth another chance.
