RACE COMMENT
MULLUM JUDITH (2) has good early speed and should be able to work to the lead in the early stages. She ran well last start after starting outside the back row and finishing fourth behind Laceys Lass. She appears to be a clear standout in this race and should be very hard to run down. JOVIAL JODI (3) trialled up reasonably ahead of a race track debut when finishing second to Miss Bluetrump. She showed good gate speed in that trial but may find it tricky drawn outside of Mullum Judith in this race and could be left to do the work. ALONG THE WAY (9) trialled up fairly ahead of her debut when well beaten by Miss Bluetrump. She appeared to hit the line reasonably late and is likely to have benefited from that outing. BETTY WINKLE (1) should get a good run behind the speed from an ideal draw. She was able to run a good third behind Veesign at Redcliffe and a similar effort should see her in the money again.
